• A clevis grab hook is a type of chain hook designed to engage and “grab” a link of chain to secure, shorten, or tension a chain in transportation and tie-down applications. The H-330 and A-330 designations refer to versions for different chain grades:

  H-330 (G43): Forged carbon steel, suitable for Grade 43 (high-test) chain.

  A-330 (G70): Forged alloy steel, suitable for Grade 70 transport chain with higher strength and working load limits.

  Materials & Construction

  Forged Steel: Drop-forged for strength and durability.

  Quenched & Tempered: Heat treated to improve toughness and fatigue resistance.
